Wenn ich so an die letzten Monate und auch Jahre zurück denke, dann fällt mir erst auf, wie sehr mein Selbstbewusstsein gewachsen ist. Es gibt noch genug Situationen, in denen ich an mir zweifel, aber im großen und ganzen bin ich nicht mehr der schüchterne, verschlossene Typ, der sich wohl fühlt, wenn er ruhig in der Ecke sitzen und sehen kann. Wie ich meinen neuen Job begonnen und auf die Leute zu gegangen bin erstaunt mich im nachhinein doch ziemlich. Und ausgerechnet ich, der schon halbe Panikattaken bekommen hat, wenn er jemanden anrufen sollte, macht jetzt Telefonumfragen ...
Ich wachse und entwickle mich und das deutlich spürbar!

Die Schattenseite der Entwicklung ist, dass ich jetzt aber auch weniger auf meine Environmental respect and the good of others not necessarily about my job. Whether I'm at now because the right balance and still differs in one of two extremes, I do not unfortunately - On the whole I seem to me, but on the right track to! I no longer feel that I really need someone to give my life meaning, but I also know that I alone will not permanently be happy.

Nach dem Stabkauf habe ich den Wandbehang entsprechend betunnelt, extra in Weiß, damit er etwas höher angebracht werden kann. Nach meiner Bohrung und Dübelung konnte der MEMORIES- Wandbehang dann seiner Bestimmung gerecht werden. So, und hier könnt Ihr sehen, wo er ab sofort ab- oder rumhängt! ;-))

Im Quilt befinden sich viele Erinnerungen, nicht nur an Reisen. Die umspielenden Quadrate nehmen zwar  Bezug auf den Ort oder speziell Erlebtes dort, aber sie sind z.T. auch Andenken an die Herkunft der Stoffe - ganz ganz unterschiedlich, eigentlich ein ganzes Buch wert ;-)) Nein, nein, keine Angst! Nur soviel: Auch ein paar Blogetten sind schon vertreten.Vielleicht erkennt Ihr Euch ja? ;-)

Der Header ist allerdings noch nicht angenäht, das werde ich auch von Hand machen. Und die Aufhängung muß auch noch montiert werden.

As promised yesterday in the main blog, here are more of the story:

There are six in total so far to see the 12 blocks. Sorry, the order is chronological in the picture wrong, but that will not only disturbs, here they are sewn together yet, yes.
The "places" are all embroidered with various threads or pearl cotton embroidery floss, the "data" I have embroidered with thread. The task I have set myself further: No material is to be repeated is successful up to now ;-)
These finished pieces I have been sewn together by hand on the back (but not yet made any pictures coming soon!) For the header of the blinds then I take in the overall width dimension, and again different, but only light squares, since there then on it should come with a logo or headline, so to speak. Learn more about this later or tomorrow.

Ich bekam von meiner Tochter alte ausgediente Gardinen von ihrer ersten Wohnung. Diese Gardinen hatten durch ihre zwei krallenbesitzende Mitbewohner mehrere kleine Löchelchen bekommen. "Mama ich habe Dir die mal mitgebracht, weil Du ja immer ....." usw usw." wenn nicht, kannst Du sie ja entsorgen." Ich entschied mich dann auch für "Entsorgen", legte sie schon bereit, um beim nächsten Gang am Container vorbeizukommen, vergaß sie dann aber mitzunehmen, kam nachhause und riß aus Neugier mal drauf los. Da merkte ich, daß sie sich gut reißen ließen, schnitt bzw.riß außen Saum und Schlaufen ab, damit das Teil entstand, welches ich auf Bild 2 mal dargestellt habe.
