So sehen alle Übergänge von hinten aus. For my gegretelten blocks are already finished, framed, or "gebindingt" but in the Tiger style. ;-)) And so, I have sewn together all the blocks on the back of the hand with double thread, of course, so that it is not visible from the front.

This is the first letter of the "headline" -
on various small squares sewn on. Also, since no material is double.

Im Quilt befinden sich viele Erinnerungen, nicht nur an Reisen. Die umspielenden Quadrate nehmen zwar  Bezug auf den Ort oder speziell Erlebtes dort, aber sie sind z.T. auch Andenken an die Herkunft der Stoffe - ganz ganz unterschiedlich, eigentlich ein ganzes Buch wert ;-)) Nein, nein, keine Angst! Nur soviel: Auch ein paar Blogetten sind schon vertreten.Vielleicht erkennt Ihr Euch ja? ;-)

Der Header ist allerdings noch nicht angenäht, das werde ich auch von Hand machen. Und die Aufhängung muß auch noch montiert werden.
Es gibt also noch eine Fortsetzung.

As promised yesterday in the main blog, here are more of the story:

There are six in total so far to see the 12 blocks. Sorry, the order is chronological in the picture wrong, but that will not only disturbs, here they are sewn together yet, yes.
The "places" are all embroidered with various threads or pearl cotton embroidery floss, the "data" I have embroidered with thread. The task I have set myself further: No material is to be repeated is successful up to now ;-)
These finished pieces I have been sewn together by hand on the back (but not yet made any pictures coming soon!) For the header of the blinds then I take in the overall width dimension, and again different, but only light squares, since there then on it should come with a logo or headline, so to speak. Learn more about this later or tomorrow.

Zur Entstehung:
Ich bekam von meiner Tochter alte ausgediente Gardinen von ihrer ersten Wohnung. Diese Gardinen hatten durch ihre zwei krallenbesitzende Mitbewohner mehrere kleine Löchelchen bekommen. "Mama ich habe Dir die mal mitgebracht, weil Du ja immer ....." usw usw." wenn nicht, kannst Du sie ja entsorgen." Ich entschied mich dann auch für "Entsorgen", legte sie schon bereit, um beim nächsten Gang am Container vorbeizukommen, vergaß sie dann aber mitzunehmen, kam nachhause und riß aus Neugier mal drauf los. Da merkte ich, daß sie sich gut reißen ließen, schnitt bzw.riß außen Saum und Schlaufen ab, damit das Teil entstand, welches ich auf Bild 2 mal dargestellt habe.

If you now ask you whether the "hard edges" of the curtain, where it goes around the curve so to speak (as shown in Figure 2) must pay special attention, then I answer yes and recommend, during knitting, the corners of "beizubiegen or to roll" so that they conform to the shape of the "knitting yarn", which has worked well for me.
